What is the game about?

It's about you getting some weird people & instruments together, & going out on the road to fame, fortune & groupies. Your friends have done the same thing & are trying to get your gig at the party down the street... & they've stolen your new rave trance single for their own!
Someone's gonna get their head kicked in tonight!

Is this a CCG?

No. When you buy the game, all you have to concentrate on is having fun and not hunting up the elusive "Volume 11" card.
Altho' there are some promotional cards out there, if you are the hunter/gatherer type.
And we have an expansion set in the works, that will add 2 more players and more Rock and Roll madness!
So it's an expandable game, if you wish.

Why is there a Mom card?

Are you kidding? Without a doubt, Mom is the rockin'est member of the family! Mom Partridge, Mom Cowsill, Chrissie Hynde is a Mom, The Mothers of Invention, the Mamas & the Papas, the list goes on. (Besides, we love our Mom!) Dad, on the other hand, is a dud.

The Me card is only worth 1 point, if we're the stars, why are we worth so little?

Truthfully, I've seen you play, & well.... You control the band, isn't that enough! You don't see Fella or X17 getting griping about their 1 point status, and they could kick your ass!
When the game is over, You're going to be the winner. Be content with that.

I notice that the Devil is present in the game. Won't that be a problem in this day and age of RPG's and card game/Satan hysteria?

This game touches on all aspects of Rock & Roll...Sex, Drugs, Death, & yes, the Devil. It's satire, we don't condone any of the behavior of Rock Musicians, just make fun of it. And besides, we have God represented in our game too!
If certain cards rub you the wrong way, throw them away. The game will not be unplayable & will still be fun & funny...which is our intent in the first place, not to bring you down.

Rules-specific

If I play a Poor Sales card and I already have a Contract in play, what happens?

Discard the contract stolen if you already have a contract in play. Remember, you can only have one contract in play at a time.

What happens if I play a Co-Produced card on a Hit Single that is worth one Superstar Point?

Each player receives 1/2 Superstar Point. (You may want to have a house rule saying both players each get 1 Superstar Point)

Can Quit the Band target Me? (Obviously "Me" can't leave play...) Do you lose what's on Me & just keep Me in play?

That card targets any non-ME band member, due to the fact that the Me never leaves thier band. It cannot be played on a Me card.

Can you exceed 4 band members during a Gig?

Yes, as they are Guest stars and are not "officially" in your band (they are discarded after the gig is over.).

Air guitar is what kind of instrument?

None. It isn't an instrument, it's a mental abberation. ;)

Can Plagiarism be played with no contract?

Yes. (The concept is that the song was originally yours and you are getting it back, so you don't need to be signed to play it on your band.)
