Playtesting for TWGI
TWGI feels that outside playtesters are one of the most important processes
to produce a great game. Their knowledge, skill, and a fresh-look upon newly
designed games bring a good contrast to the opinions of the game's design team.
TWGI treats playtesting very seriously and expects its playtesters treat their
responsibilities seriously as well. Of course, TWGI rewards playtesters for their
hard work immediately upon release of a published game.
We are looking for a number of new playtesting teams from anywhere around the world.
If you are up to the challenge, read onto the specifics:
Requirements
- Teams are a must. 2 people are the minimum for a team, and they must be able to
meet face-to-face at least once a week during playtesting.
- One member becomes a lead and is responsible for the team's progression
through the playtesting and their comments back to TWGI.
- Time devoted to playtesting is extremely crucial. Most games require 1 to 2 hours
of preparation (reading emails, preparing decks) and 2 to 6 hours of play per week.
Also, a playtest period may last over a month, so an extended period of time is needed
to be scheduled for the entire playtesting.
- All team members must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and a
Playtester's Agreement outlining their responsibilies and rewards as playtesters.
Open & Upcoming Games
