New rules cover new promotional cards from Third World Games. We are still in the process of determining a fair and easy way to allow "PROMO" cards into tournament settings. We'll keep you updated on those rules.

• 800. Promotional Cards
• 801. From time to time, Third World Games, Inc. will make available, free to the public, certain cards that will be designated as promotional or "promo" cards. These cards may be downloaded from the Third World Games website. These cards are considered "official" cards released by Third World Games, Inc., and will be legal for play, subject to all game and tournament rules.
• 802. All Promo cards will have the following expansion symbol: "OP". Promotional cards are not considered to be part of any main set or expansion, including Prime Edition ("PRM") or the currently existing promotional set ("PROMO").
• 803. Promo cards are legal for tournament play beginning with the day they are posted to the Third World Games website. To use a promotional card in a tournament deck, print it, cut it out, and insert the print out into a sleeve with any regular Firestorm card. The print out and card in sleeve must be indistinguishable from other cards in the tournament deck. Promo cards may not be played in official tournaments without a card sleeve. (Note: TWGI also recommends this sleeving practice be followed for non-tournament play.)
• 803.1 Promotional cards may be, at the sole discretion of Third World Games, Inc., banned from tournament play per the official tournament rules. (See Section 700).
• 804. Promotional cards are free to all players and are not for sale through retailers, distributors, or Third World Games, Inc. They may only be obtained at the TWGI website. Promotional cards may not be redeemed for any purpose through any redemption or trade-in program offered by TWGI.
• 805. Third World Games, Inc. reserves the right to later include promo cards in any official main or expansion set release.
