Third World Games Acquisitions, Inc. (TWGI) knows that our fans like to build on the properties we have created. We are committed to bringing the most possible resources to you within legal guidelines. It is possible to do this while acknowledging the rights of others. The guidelines below explain in detail how you can use the resources we provide to you.

Website

The website ("Site") are all domains under thirdworldgames.com and twgi.org.

Nonexclusive License. We grant you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, limited right to access, use and display the Site and the materials provided hereon, provided that you comply fully with these Terms of Use. Access to and use of portions of the Site are limited to persons that become subscribers to or members of the Site. You agree not to interrupt, or attempt to interrupt, the operation of the Site in any way. You agree that you will not use the Site for chain letters, junk mail, "spamming," or bulk communications of any kind including, but not limited to, distribution lists to any person who has not given specific permission to be included in such a list. (REMEMBER: ALL MAILING LISTS OPERATED BY TWGI ALWAYS ASK FROM A CONFIRMATION FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS BEFORE ADDING THAT EMAIL ADDRESS TO THE MAILING LIST). You may not advertise or solicit on the Site without our express written permission EXCEPT IN AREAS THAT WE GIVE YOU EXPLICIT PERMISSION TO CONDUCT COMMERCIAL AND NON-COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS OF OUR PROPERTIES.

Usage and Monitoring. You may use the Site only as intended by TWGI. While TWGI has no obligation to monitor the Site and is not responsible for the content of any messages, information or files transmitted on the Site, TWGI reserves the right to delete, move, edit, refuse to post or take other appropriate action with respect to such messages, information or files which TWGI, in its sole discretion, deems objectionable or otherwise in violation of these Terms of Use, including denying access to the Site to anyone at anytime. All persons are hereby notified that use of the Site constitutes consent to such actions, monitoring and auditing.

Privacy. Your use of the Site constitutes your consent to TWGI's privacy policy posted from time to time on the Site. You may review the current TWGI privacy policy.
Confidentiality. Any communication or material you post or transmit to the the Site is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. You assume full responsibility for anything you post or transmit, and you grant TWGI and its affiliates the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any information or content you post or transmit for any purpose.
Modification of Terms and Conditions of Usage. TWGI reserves the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time by updating this posting. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to comply with such revisions, so you should visit this page from time to time. Certain provisions of these Terms of Use may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms on particular pages of the Site or in separate written agreements between TWGI and you.

Trademarks

A current a list of the trademarks owned by TWGI is available for your review. You may use these trademarks in conjunction with our properties or your created properties as long as you follow these guidelines:

Art and Images

Most card art for TWGI's properties are not copyrighted by TWGI; they are still owned by the original artist. At the bottom of any page that uses a TWGI copyrighted art item, or on a global "legal" page that is linked to by a page that uses a TWGI copyrighted art item, put the following hyperlink:

You cannot use any card art for any card in the Firestorm game for any reason without express, written permission from the artist. You must have the notice from the artist available for review on your website if you have been granted permission.
All card art that has been licensed to us has been watermarked. These watermarked images cannot be used for your use for any reason. We will notify any person with a 'Cease & Desist' letter that uses these images on their personal website.
You may use TWGI generated art (it will be noted as such), or logos for your own use including the following:
- TWGI company logo (black background)
- TWGI company logo (white background)
- Firestorm game logo
- Alien race symbols (Corp, Corsair, Dysori, Human, Muero, Soven)
You may use the trade-dress (the front of the Firestorm card), or the back of the Firestorm card for your non-commercial, personal use. Generation of proxy cards for commercial use or use in Firestorm sanctioned, official, or non-official tournaments is ILLEGAL AND PEOPLE DETERMINED TO VIOLATE THIS TERM WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!

Card Submissions

TWGI welcomes the submissions from fans that would like to see their work incorporated into upcoming TWGI properties. If you would like to submit your work, please send your work to any properly labeled electronic mailbox ("Card Submissions"). These submissions are governed by the following:

If you do submit material to the Site with to an electronic mailbox labeled "Card Submissions", you grant TWGI a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant TWGI the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post, and your work is a derivative work of a TWGI property; that the content is accurate; and that you will indemnify TWGI for all claims resulting from content you supply. TWGI has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. TWGI takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.
